The American people are tired of watching the mainstream media twist, spin, and flat-out distort the truth to fit their own liberal agenda. Case in point: this week’s pathetic display by Kaitlan Collins, CNN’s latest so-called star, who tried to corner Karoline Leavitt with a loaded question about American military casualties. But as usual, when the left tries to play “gotcha,” all they end up doing is exposing their own bias.
Karoline Leavitt didn’t flinch. While Collins plucked remarks out of context from Pentagon brass, Leavitt stood firm. She refused to let the mainstream narrative smear our military’s hard-won efforts or our leaders’ dedication. It speaks volumes that the White House press team has to spend time correcting the nonsense journalists throw out—not facts, but cherry-picked words designed to manufacture outrage.
What we’re seeing is pure desperation from the left. Instead of supporting our troops, liberals hunt for headlines. Their goal isn’t to inform the public—it’s to embarrass conservatives and feed their anti-American base. Collins’ stunt was textbook liberal media: ignore the full truth, grab a snippet, and hammer away, hoping something sticks.
It’s embarrassing that a “journalist” would rather play games with the safety and honor of our men and women in uniform, all to score political points. Where was this tough questioning during Obama’s countless foreign policy failures? Where is this outrage when Americans are endangered abroad on the Democrats’ watch? The double standard could not be clearer.
Maybe it’s time for the media to put America first, stop playing defense for globalist interests, and actually respect the people who serve this country—the very same people the left are so quick to use as pawns. The game is up. Americans see through the media’s mask, and they’re sick of it. How much longer will liberals insult our intelligence before they finally realize: the people aren’t buying it?
