While brave American pilots risk their lives defending freedom in the Middle East, there are scenes of true gratitude abroad that put the so-called “compassion” of our own leftist elites to shame. A recent video making waves online shows a Kuwaiti man running to help a downed U.S. pilot, proving once again that real allies understand the value of American strength. It’s a moment that should warm the heart of every patriot—yet apparently, not everyone sees it that way.
Back home, the radical left continues its public meltdown, sneering at anyone who wears the uniform. Instead of respecting the men and women who keep us safe, some of these woke activists openly root for their failure—even their deaths. That’s right. While a Kuwaiti races across open ground just to support a fallen hero, a leftist woman here celebrates American casualties for internet clout. It’s disgusting, but sadly, it’s par for the course these days.
This is the modern left. Obsessed with identity politics and quick to side with America’s enemies, they seem more outraged by U.S. flags than by actual threats to our national security. They love to scream “tolerance,” but what they really tolerate is hatred for America, its military, and anyone who believes in national pride. You’ll never see a woke activist thank a veteran. You’re more likely to catch them burning the flag or writing screeds about “imperialism” from the comfort of Mom’s basement.
Meanwhile, those who have actually lived through the storm—people in places like Kuwait—haven’t forgotten what happens when tyranny reigns and America stands aside. They know true evil, and they recognize sacrifice when they see it. That’s why they run to help downed pilots, instead of wishing for their deaths on social media with the rest of the anti-American mob.
It’s simple: America’s defenders deserve respect. People on the other side of the world get it. Why is it so hard for the American left? Maybe the next time a leftist sits safely on their phone, trashing our troops, they’ll remember who makes that freedom possible. Or maybe they’re just too blinded by their own hatred to ever see reality. This country needs a reminder of who the real heroes are—and it’s not the keyboard warriors.
