It’s amazing how fast the left trips over themselves in defense of our enemies. The moment President Trump stands up to Iran, Democrats and their media pals rush to call it a “war of choice.” The same crowd that turns a blind eye to Iran’s terror, their missile strikes, and their relentless threats against Americans, suddenly acts outraged when America finally fights back.
Let’s get real. Iran’s regime has been poking Uncle Sam in the eye for years. They sponsor terror across the globe, attack our allies, and target our own troops. No president who takes his oath seriously would sit back and let such evil go unchecked. President Trump had to act – he didn’t want war, but he wasn’t about to let Iranian thugs walk all over us. When America gets hit, we hit back harder.
But liberals don’t see it that way, do they? They’d rather keep shaking hands with the world’s worst dictators, hoping some magic deal will make Iran behave. We’ve seen how that script plays out. Obama’s cash-and-kiss approach only made Iran bolder. The left’s love affair with weak foreign policy has cost America too much already—our safety, our allies, and our dignity all took a hit during their years coddling Tehran.
Meanwhile, Democrats act shocked—shocked!—that a real leader might use a little force to defend America’s interests. It’s childish, naïve, and downright dangerous. You can’t reason with tyrants who chant for your death. You make it clear there’s a price for messing with the United States. That’s exactly what Trump did. He made it clear that America doesn’t bow to threats or hide behind empty promises.
So the next time liberal talking heads cry foul about Trump “choosing war,” maybe they should ask themselves: who really wants America on its knees? The world has enough weak leaders who kneel before bullies. Isn’t it about time we had leaders who actually fight for us and put America first?
