Another disaster is unfolding right in our own backyard, and the mainstream media can barely bring itself to care. A major immigration detention center in Texas just slammed its doors on visitors and lawyers. Why? Measles. That’s right, the disease our parents worked hard to erase is back—brought to us courtesy of open borders and reckless left-wing immigration schemes.
What happened to American common sense? The same politicians screaming for amnesty and open gates are now silent as health risks spiral out of control. Liberals love to virtue-signal about “compassion,” but the minute their reckless ideas lead to real, flesh-and-blood consequences like a disease outbreak, they run for cover. While American citizens are forced to vaccinate their kids, illegal migrants get a free pass—all while dragging dangerous diseases across the border.
This isn’t just about a few sick inmates. It’s about a government, hijacked by globalist interests, that puts its radical ideology above the safety of its own people. When did enforcing quarantine in a Texas detention camp become news? When politicians let the border turn into a revolving door and ignore the security and health consequences. While patriotic Americans are held hostage by endless COVID mandates, the people flooding our country illegally get special treatment.
Where are the so-called “human rights” champions now? The lawyers who usually swarm these facilities with lawsuits and protests can’t even get inside. They should be asking themselves who is really responsible for these outbreaks—hint: it’s not the folks trying to protect our borders.
When measles starts shutting down entire detention centers, maybe it’s time Democrats admit their experiment has failed. Are Americans supposed to risk their health and their future for the sake of open borders? Or is it finally time to put America first, secure the border, and stop importing chaos? Only one side seems to care about real public health—and it’s not the left.
