Once again, the American people see who truly stands tall when it comes to defending our nation and its allies. This week, Congress had a chance to decide: stand with President Trump as he takes real action against Iran, or cave to the spineless, globalist crowd that would rather tie America’s hands than keep us safe. The House rightly rejected a weak resolution that would have forced President Trump to stop standing up to the regime in Tehran. The vote was close, which just goes to show how many lawmakers are still afraid to put America first.
Let’s be clear: Iran is not some misunderstood kid on the playground. This is the world’s number one sponsor of terror—funding murderers, launching missiles, and dreaming up chaos to target Americans and our allies. Trump isn’t playing games. The military strikes on Iran came after years of empty threats from past presidents who just wanted to talk and hope the problem disappeared. This president saw an Iranian government refusing to give up deadly missiles and possible nukes—so he acted. Finally, the United States and Israel are showing Iran what real consequences look like.
It’s laughable, but not surprising, to see Democrats whine about “restraint” and “diplomacy” while Iran attacks our embassies and threatens our citizens. Democrats say they care about American lives, but 53 of them couldn’t even bring themselves to admit—on record—that Iran is the biggest terror sponsor on the planet. They bend over backward to make excuses for our enemies. They’d rather write strongly worded letters than back our Commander-in-Chief when he protects the homeland.
Of course, a few Republicans tried to derail Trump’s tough action, pandering to the crowd that thinks appeasement works. Luckily, they were a tiny minority. Most conservatives know that the cost of inaction is blood and chaos—not just for us, but for every ally who relies on America’s resolve.
At the end of the day, Congress had a choice: unleash real American strength, or indulge in the same spineless nonsense that led to endless wars and more flag-draped coffins. President Trump made it clear—those days are over. You can’t negotiate with evil. So why do the left and their globalist friends want to handcuff America while terrorists run wild? Maybe they should remember whose side they’re supposed to be on.
