Democrats turn security hearing into soap opera to smear Kristi Noem as border crisis worsens

Democrats, once again, showed America how little they care about the real issues. At a judiciary hearing, instead of focusing on our broken border or threats to our national security, their number one goal was to embarrass Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. How? By dragging her into petty personal questions about alleged private behavior with Corey Lewandowski. This is the swamp, folks, and it stinks.

Secretary Noem sat in that hearing room ready to talk about how to keep us safe. But liberal lawmakers would rather play daytime soap opera than get anything done for the American people. Even worse, they did it while her husband was right behind her in the room. What kind of sick political theater is this? The Left claims to care about women, but they use every dirty trick to tear down conservative women who dare to stand up for their beliefs.

While Americans worry about drugs pouring across the border, terrorists sneaking in, and families suffering from Biden’s weak policies, Democrats obsess over tabloid rumors. It’s clear where their priorities are: gossip, smears, and scoring cheap political points. They can’t defend their failing record, so they go on personal attacks against conservatives who refuse to back down.

Kristi Noem could have been questioned about surging crime or how to fix our homeland security disaster. But Democrats can’t be bothered. They’d rather try to humiliate her instead of holding President Biden accountable for his complete lack of leadership. That’s not oversight—it’s a clown show.

Conservatives deserve better. Americans deserve better. Maybe if Democrats put half as much energy into protecting the country as they do into personal drama, we wouldn’t have a crisis at the border. But that would require them to actually do their jobs—and we all know that’s too much to ask.
