Once again, the so-called guardians of our national security are throwing roadblocks at anyone daring to hold them accountable. It’s been revealed that leadership at the Department of Homeland Security is stonewalling their own inspector general. Eleven investigations, including one that’s criminal, are facing this outrageous obstruction. But instead of open access and honesty, those in charge act like they have something to hide. Where’s the transparency Americans deserve?
This is yet another example of liberal incompetence in our federal agencies. Democrats love to preach about truth and justice—until it threatens their power. The inspector general’s job is to keep these agencies in check, but he’s getting the cold shoulder from the very people he’s supposed to investigate. It’s clear: the left doesn’t like anyone pulling back the curtain on their schemes. The American people are left asking what kind of corruption is going on behind those locked doors.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration barely bats an eye. Isn’t it funny how the party of “accountability” runs for cover whenever the spotlight shines in their direction? This isn’t just a bureaucratic fight. It’s about protecting our borders and our nation’s security from bad actors—both inside and outside our government. The left has been more interested in kneecapping the watchdog than doing anything about the mess at the southern border.
Globalist elites and their pals in Washington want Americans to just trust them, no questions asked. But when our own inspector general is pounding on the door, demanding access, and still gets ignored, it sounds a lot less like government of the people and a lot more like a coverup for their own failures. Who are they protecting? Certainly not the average citizen.
Americans should be furious. If the people paid to police corruption can’t even do their jobs, what hope is there for the rest of us? Those in power keep proving they have no interest in the truth—just their own comfort and control. If this isn’t the swamp digging in deeper, what is?
