There’s something rotten in Washington when Republicans start acting like Democrats, and that stink just got stronger. Five members of the House Oversight Committee, who are supposed to stand up for conservative values, have decided to jump ship. They joined Democrats in a vote to subpoena former Attorney General Pam Bondi in the ongoing Epstein investigation. That’s right—five so-called Republicans just handed a win to the left, making the swamp deeper than ever.
The Justice Department’s release of the Epstein files has sent D.C. into a frenzy. Instead of using this moment to demand accountability from the true culprits—many with connections to powerful leftists and globalist elites—the committee has turned its fire on Bondi. Is this really about finding the truth? Or is it about smearing another conservative who refuses to play ball with the radical left machine?
Pam Bondi isn’t some faceless bureaucrat. She’s a strong conservative who stood up against the Democrats’ circus more than once. Now, by targeting her, this committee is signaling they care more about playing politics than protecting American values. Where’s the outrage for the liberals who actually spent time at Epstein’s infamous parties? Where’s the push to expose the elite, well-connected leftists who have skated by for years?
Instead, what do we see? Republicans caving to media pressure, desperate for approval from the very people who wish to destroy them. The Democrats see this as yet another opportunity to drag conservatives through the mud, hoping the public will never notice the glowing hypocrisy of letting their own buddies off the hook. The globalist cabal cheers every time Republicans act as lapdogs for liberal interests.
This isn’t oversight. This is overreach, plain and simple. The American people didn’t send conservatives to Congress to play nice with the left—they sent them to fight for truth, justice, and traditional American values. Too bad some Republicans would rather get a pat on the back from the New York Times than stand up for what’s right. Maybe the real question is: when did defending your own side become a crime in Washington?
