House Delivers Stunning Rebuke to Left as Attempt to Handcuff Trump on Iran Backfires Big Time

The House just sent a clear message to America’s enemies—and also to the whiny leftists trying to weaken our country’s president. Their so-called war powers resolution, which was meant to tie President Trump’s hands when it comes to Iran, failed in the House. Thank goodness for some common sense finally showing up in Washington, because the world is a dangerous place, and we don’t need liberals making it even more dangerous.

Let’s get something straight: The liberals pushing this resolution don’t care about peace or safety. They care about embarrassing President Trump at any cost. They want to control everything he does, even when it comes to keeping Americans safe from brutal Iranian regimes. Apparently, if a Republican is in charge, the left suddenly wants to throw away America’s strength and hand over power to incompetent bureaucrats.

The Senate, full of its own share of globalist elites, had already blocked a similar scheme the day before. Yet the radical Democrats in the House just couldn’t help themselves. They tried again, hoping they could make President Trump look bad, even if it meant making our country look weak to the rest of the world. When will these people realize that weakness invites aggression? Iran would love to see a divided, indecisive America. Is that what the left wants?

Thankfully, the House rejected this nonsense. It’s about time we stop pretending that the President needs a permission slip from partisan hacks before acting to defend our nation. No one stopped Obama from making terrible calls in the Middle East, but suddenly the left finds “principles” when a real leader shows up. The hypocrisy is stunning. If these politicians cared half as much about American lives as they do about scoring points against Trump, maybe our enemies would think twice before messing with us.

The left can keep crying crocodile tears about “checks and balances,” but everyone knows what this is really about: They hate that President Trump puts America first. Unlike the globalists and apologists that came before him, Trump doesn’t blink when tyrants threaten this country. So here’s the real question for Congress: Are you on America’s side, or Iran’s? The House just made the right call. Let’s see if the left figures it out before it’s too late.
