Iran Crisis Hits Home How Weak Leadership Is Crushing American Families

Tensions in Iran have the world teetering on the edge, and as usual, the so-called “global community” seems stunned that chaos in the Middle East spells disaster for more than just oil. Suddenly, people are acting shocked that a major conflict in Iran can choke off the real arteries of the world: ocean freight and air cargo. The truth is, this isn’t only about gas prices at your local pump—it’s about the backbone of global trade being strangled, and the people paying the price are hardworking Americans.

Liberals love to spin fairy tales about a “borderless world” where global supply chains magically work for everyone. But real Americans have seen how easily these fragile systems crumble. When ships and planes can’t move goods safely because warmongers in Tehran threaten chaos, it isn’t Wall Street or the European Union that hurts—it’s the small businesses, the American farmers, and everyday families facing even higher prices on daily necessities.

For years, globalists lectured us about “diversity of suppliers” and the wonders of outsourcing our manufacturing. But let’s be honest: all those bright ideas led to dependence on foreign shipping lanes and left America vulnerable. Now, as the Iran war blows up beyond the oil markets, the ripple effects hit everything from electronics to food. And what are the elites doing? Scrambling for talking points instead of real solutions.

The Biden administration and its left-wing cheerleaders love to act like these crises are unavoidable or just bad luck. That’s nonsense. Weak leadership and appeasement gave rogue states like Iran free rein to disrupt the world stage. America used to stand its ground, keep sea lanes safe, and protect its interests. Now, thanks to feckless policies and anti-American wishful thinking, our country and allies bear the cost of a global system on the brink.

Will the left ever admit their blind faith in globalism was a colossal mistake? Or will they keep making excuses while Americans pay more, wait longer, and watch our supply chains get weaponized by foreign thugs? Maybe it’s time to ask who our government really has on its mind, because it sure doesn’t look like Main Street USA.
