Iran’s Mullahs Bow to China, Threaten West in Strait of Hormuz Showdown
Once again, Iran has shown the world just how dangerous and unstable it really is. The ruling regime is flexing its muscles in the Strait of Hormuz—a choke point for the world’s oil supply—and pulling its usual terror tricks. This time, Iranian radicals say they’ll only block American, Israeli, and European ships, letting their “friends” pass through. And by “friends,” of course, they mean Communist China.
Why the sudden change in rhetoric? Make no mistake, the only thing that made Iran back off an all-out blockade was pressure from Beijing. Iran loves to play the tough guy on the world stage, but when their top business partner comes knocking, those threats suddenly die down. China’s appetite for oil is all that’s keeping Iran in check, not any moral compass or international law. The so-called “Islamic Republic” talks a big game but crumbles when their cash pipeline is threatened.
What’s even more shocking is how the weak and naive policies from the West have left us exposed. For years, liberals and globalists lectured America about appeasement and “diplomacy.” Well, here we are. Iran feels bold enough to target the United States and its allies, but not China. Where’s the outcry from left-wing leaders who claim to support freedom and democracy? Silent, as usual, when their globalist pals in Beijing pull the strings.
Meanwhile, President Trump offers to deploy the U.S. Navy to protect shipping lanes and guarantee safe passage for our allies. That’s called leadership. That’s called putting America first. Yet, the left mocks and undermines these strong moves, preferring to hide behind talk and empty gestures. Maybe if they spent less time defending terrorist regimes and more time supporting American strength, the world wouldn’t be emboldened by thugs like Iran.
Iran has made its loyalties crystal clear. They serve China, threaten the West, and are desperate to divide the world on the enemy’s terms. If this doesn’t prove how badly the world needs decisive, patriotic leadership—especially in America—I don’t know what does. Maybe the next time liberals cozy up to our enemies, they should remember: appeasement always leads to weakness, and weakness invites disaster.
