Once again, common sense won in the Senate. The latest attempt by out-of-touch politicians to tie President Trump’s hands on Iran was shot down. Liberals tried to pass a phony “war powers resolution” that would have forced the President to ask Congress for permission before defending America. Washington elites want to play general from their comfy offices, telling our Commander-in-Chief how to do his job. What a joke.
Let’s not forget what’s really behind this stunt. The left is desperate to protect their favorite rogue regime in Tehran—the same one that chants death to America and attacks our troops. Meanwhile, American families are supposed to cross their fingers and hope Congress can make up its mind while missiles are flying? Only liberals could think this is sound policy. Their anti-Trump obsession blinds them to basic reality: the world is dangerous, and America needs a president who can act fast.
These so-called “war powers” bills are nothing but political games. Globalists and career politicians want endless meetings and red tape. But the real world isn’t a college debate. It’s ugly, shocking, and demands real leadership. President Trump understood that. When Iran threatened Americans, he took action. He made it clear that our enemies don’t get a free pass just because bureaucrats are too busy making speeches.
The resolution’s defeat proves that Americans are tired of weakness. Liberals claim that they want peace, but their real goal is to kneecap American power and rain bonus points on our enemies. Maybe they’d be happier if our troops had to send a memo home before defending themselves. But out here in the real world, the stakes are too high for that kind of nonsense.
Liberals need to wake up: it’s not just about hating Trump. It’s about choosing between American strength and global chaos. Will the left ever put our country first, or are they just waiting for the next chance to side with America’s enemies?
