Is anyone actually buying the narrative that CNN, of all places, is suddenly going to become the gold standard for truth in the news? That’s what Paramount-Skydance’s new chief, David Ellison, wants Americans to believe. The same CNN that’s been pumping out liberal spin and propaganda for years now claims it’s ready to clean up its act. Forgive me if I’m not holding my breath.
Let’s be honest. CNN lost its way decades ago. This network sold out to globalist elites, crooned lullabies to the progressive mob, and gave us anything but the actual facts. If there’s a political angle to push, you could bet CNN was leading the charge for the radical left. The misinformation has become so bad, it’s almost impressive how wrong they get things—day after day, year after year.
Now, with Ellison at the helm and promising a return to the “truth business,” we’re all supposed to pretend the past never happened. But what’s most laughable is the immediate panic from liberals. The same crowd who cheered as the network smeared President Trump, and anyone else with a shred of common sense, are suddenly terrified they might lose their personal fake news factory. The fear really says it all.
What’s even more striking is that Ellison himself is quickly being painted as a Trump supporter by left-wing activists. The second there’s a whiff of conservative influence, progressives hit the sirens. Funny how they demand “independence” only when they’re the ones calling the shots. Hypocrisy is the real language of the left.
The truth is, liberal media empires like CNN have abused their power for far too long. If this shake-up actually means pushing facts over feelings and calling out globalist failures, America might finally get some real reporting again. But would CNN even survive if forced to tell the truth? Now that’s a reality show worth watching.
