California liberals just can’t help themselves. Every time you think they’ve run out of crazy ideas, they try to push single-payer health care—for everyone, for free. It sounds dreamy if you live in a fantasy land, but here in the real world, someone has to pay the bill. And that bill is massive. Try half a trillion dollars a year. That’s even more than California’s entire state budget. Where do these progressives think the money grows—on those redwood trees?
The left keeps promising that single-payer means “Medicare for all,” but let’s not forget, Medicare itself is almost broke. Now they want to stick their hands even deeper into taxpayers’ pockets. They’ll try to hide it behind “fairness” and “equity,” but you know who gets slammed with the bill—ordinary, hard-working Californians. Small businesses would crumble under sky-high taxes. Families would see paychecks shrink. And all for a plan that’s been a disaster everywhere it’s tried.
Take a guess who actually gets rich off these schemes. Not the families. Not the patients waiting in endless lines for care. Nope. It’s the bureaucrats, the special-interest cronies, and a bunch of globalist elites who love seeing America weakened by failed socialist experiments. The same liberals who scream about “affordable health care” can’t even run a DMV without disaster. But you’re supposed to trust them with your doctor and your wallet.
This isn’t just about health care, folks. It’s about control. The left wants to decide who lives, who dies, and how much you pay for it. They talk big about “care for all,” but the ugly truth is, you’ll get rationed treatment, longer wait times, and doctors fed up with government red tape. Meanwhile, the rich and well-connected will always find a way to get private care. It’s hypocrisy at its finest.
Progressives want to turn California into a socialist wasteland, burning through public money until the state is bankrupt and businesses are running for the border. If this half-a-trillion-dollar boondoggle goes through, you can kiss California’s prosperity—and your medical freedom—goodbye. Are liberals clueless, or do they just want to see America fail?
