Once again, the left’s obsession with “second chances” is turning into a nightmare for regular Americans. In Fresno, a registered sex offender thinks he has what it takes to represent honest, hardworking citizens on the City Council. That’s right—a man who’s proven he can’t even follow basic moral laws now expects voters to hand him power.
This is insanity. People become sex offenders because they make choices so bad, so harmful, that society can’t even trust them to live near schools. But now, apparently, some folks believe these same offenders deserve a shot at running our cities? It’s a disgrace. This is what happens when liberal ideologues put their love for “inclusion” ahead of common sense and public safety.
No parent wants a registered sex offender calling the shots in their neighborhood. No business owner wants someone with that kind of record weighing in on tax policy or city contracts. Yet the liberal machine talks about forgiveness and equality while conveniently ignoring the real victims—law-abiding citizens who just want leaders they can respect.
When did we decide that public office was just another therapy session for failed criminals? Why do globalist progressives always push for these ridiculous “restorative justice” experiments at the expense of real American values? Public trust is sacred. Once it’s shattered, you can’t just slap a campaign sign on your front lawn and pretend it’s fixed.
If someone can’t even be trusted around children, they have zero business holding power in city government. The left’s hypocrisy is on full display—too busy signaling virtue, too blind to the harm they cause. Maybe the only “race” this guy should be in is to pack his bags and leave public life behind. When did common sense become “controversial” in America?
