Thankfully, common sense prevailed, and the radical War Powers Resolution to restrain Trump’s military authority died in committee.
Let’s be honest here. The left is obsessed with cutting America down to size. They want to make our Commander-in-Chief beg Congress for permission every time a madman regime steps out of line. Imagine the chaos—enemies watching our leaders squabble while missiles rain down. That’s exactly what the globalists and America-last liberals would prefer. They never trust our military or our president. They’d rather see us handcuffed by red tape than able to act fast when American lives are at risk.
The truth is, Iran isn’t our friend. It funds terrorists, chants death to America, and threatens our allies daily. But the left only wants to “de-escalate.” They preach peace while letting bullies push us around. Did they forget what happened when appeasement replaced strength? The legacy of weak leadership under Obama’s Iran deal is still haunting us.
This War Powers push was just another liberal stunt—nothing more than a desperate grab for attention and an attempt to embarrass President Trump. The country remembers how Democrats turned a blind eye when their own president trampled over Congress as he cozied up to Iran’s dictators. Suddenly, they care about congressional approval? Please.
Our enemies need to understand that America will never bend the knee to their threats—or the whining of globalist politicians. President Trump deserves the power to keep us safe, period.
