Democrats are at it again, trying to pull the wool over America’s eyes. This time it’s Texas Democrat James Talarico, who is working overtime pretending to be the “reasonable” voice in his party. But anyone paying even an ounce of attention knows the truth—the so-called moderate act is a scam. The liberals are desperate to rebrand, because the real face of their party is way too extreme for Texans and for most Americans.
Let’s face it: Folks like Talarico want you to believe he’s just like your neighbor, sipping sweet tea and minding his own business. But behind closed doors, he’s still voting for the same radical agenda pushed by the far left. Sanctuary cities, open borders, and anti-family policies—the hallmark of today’s Democratic Party. They hope smooth talk and a calm demeanor can make you forget all about their cozy relationship with special interests and big money from globalists who want to trample on your values.
It’s not a new trick. When election season rolls around, Democrats put on their Sunday best, brush up on a few buzzwords that sound mainstream, and pray you don’t dig any deeper. But actions speak louder than words. People like Talarico want Texans to focus on their tone, not their terrible record. They might look different, but they support the same wild tax hikes and leftist social engineering that attack religious freedom and local rights.
If the radical left really believed the things they say in private, they’d be honest about it. But they won’t. They know most working families don’t want skyrocketing crime, woke indoctrination in schools, and bureaucrats telling them how to run their lives. So, they toss on a “moderate” mask and hope no one notices the hypocrisy dripping from every word. They think voters are too busy—or too naive—to see the charade.
Texans, and all real Americans, should see right through this manufactured “moderation.” If Democrats like Talarico are so proud of their radical plans, why not own up to them? Or is hiding behind fake normalcy just easier than standing up for ideas that would wreck our country? One thing’s for sure—the American people are smarter than the left gives them credit for.
