Virginia under attack as Spanberger protects violent criminals and raises taxes on families

Virginia is under siege, not just from soaring taxes and job losses, but from radical Democrat leadership that cares more about protecting violent criminals than American families. Governor Abigail Spanberger, who ran as a so-called “moderate,” has already broken her campaign promises by hiking up taxes on everything you can imagine—ride shares, dog walkers, and even gym memberships. But none of these betrayals compare to the outright betrayal happening right now, as she sides with illegal aliens who threaten American lives.

Just look at what happened in Fairfax County. A criminal illegal alien with a rap sheet longer than most people’s arms—over 40 arrests—was still roaming the streets. Police warned the liberal prosecutor’s office months ago that it was only a matter of time before this guy snapped. Of course, in true soft-on-crime fashion, no one listened. Now, a mother named Stephanie Minter is dead, murdered on her way to a bus stop. Her blood is on their hands.

But instead of helping ICE remove this criminal menace, what does Spanberger do? She refuses to turn him over unless ICE jumps through yet another hoop—demanding a judicial warrant. Anyone paying attention knows this is a phony, unnecessary roadblock. Legal experts say ICE doesn’t need judicial warrants to detain illegals; they use administrative orders that have worked for years. But Democrats know if they slow ICE down enough, dangerous illegals will slip through the cracks and disappear for good.

Spanberger and her allies claim they support law enforcement, yet they’re going out of their way to tie ICE’s hands. Why? Because their real agenda is open borders and appeasing the radical left, not keeping Virginians safe. By making ICE beg for a warrant that doesn’t even apply in these cases, they’re choosing the interests of violent foreign criminals over the lives of American moms.

This isn’t just incompetence. It’s an act of war on the rule of law and the safety of every Virginian. If Democrats won’t stand up for the people who elected them, then isn’t it time we elect leaders who put Americans first? Make no mistake—if this is Spanberger’s idea of leadership, Virginia can’t afford another minute of it.
