Biden cozies up to socialist Venezuela and sells out America for oil and power

The Biden administration is at it again, bending over backward to appease brutal regimes. This time, they’re rolling out the red carpet for Venezuela—a country run into the ground by socialist dictators. The State Department just announced a new plan to restart diplomatic relations, calling it a “major shift.” A shift, all right—a shift away from American values and common sense.

Remember when Venezuela stood as the perfect warning against socialism? Their leaders crushed free speech, threw dissenters in jail, destroyed an entire economy, and watched millions flee poverty and violence. Any high school civics class could tell you: Venezuela is the last place America should cozy up to. But the left is never bothered by a little dictatorship, especially if oil deals or globalist backroom handshakes are on the table.

The liberal elites love to talk tough about “democracy” until it gets in the way of their own pet projects. Suddenly, they’re shaking hands with leaders they called enemies just yesterday. Where’s the outrage now from all the so-called “human rights” champions? Silent as a graveyard, because their so-called compassion always takes a backseat to political convenience.

It’s no secret what’s driving this dangerous policy. Biden and his cronies want cheaper oil and more power on the world stage. They’re willing to sell out our principles—again—to make their international buddies happy. Look around. Drugs and migrants pour over our borders, and now we’re supposed to trust a regime that’s become ground zero for leftist failures? The double standard is breathtaking.

Once again, American strength is being traded for weakness. Once again, our leaders put global interests ahead of our families and our future. How much more of this liberal incompetence are we supposed to stomach before someone actually puts America first?
