Biden Cuts Shocking Venezuela Deal While Ignoring Struggling Americans for Foreign Favors

The Biden administration never misses an opportunity to cozy up to foreign regimes while ignoring the suffering of Americans here at home. Case in point: The State Department just announced that the United States has struck a new deal with Venezuela’s so-called “interim authorities.” Diplomatic and consular relations are back on—a move that’s supposed to bring “stability” and “economic recovery” to a country run into the ground by socialism. Why is America’s leadership so eager to shake hands with our adversaries instead of standing firm for freedom?

It’s laughable how quickly the same leftist bureaucrats who labeled Venezuela a pariah state are now falling all over themselves to re-engage. Let’s not kid ourselves—Venezuela has been a disaster under its dictatorship. Oil-rich, yet its people starve. Cities darken, crime explodes, and yet the Biden White House expects a magical “peaceful transition” just because a shiny press release says so. Forget the reality on the ground—a little bit of feel-good diplomacy, and suddenly Venezuela is back on the invitation list.

Here’s the real story: This is about resources. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum just jetted over to Venezuela, supposedly to push “U.S. interests” in critical minerals and energy. Translation? The administration is desperate after their war on American oil and gas. Now, instead of unleashing our own energy sector, they’ll beg for scraps from corrupt, unstable regimes that hate our values. The hypocrisy is blatant. They undermine hardworking Americans, then bow before foreign strongmen to keep the lights on.

Liberals have a long history of selling out our principles for cheap political wins. Where was all this “commitment to the Venezuelan people” when the regime was crushing protests and rigging elections? Now that they need a political Band-Aid for skyrocketing energy prices, Venezuela suddenly looks attractive again. If the left’s policies hadn’t destroyed our own energy independence, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Let’s face it: This administration would rather make deals with dictators than stand up for American workers and values. How many times must we watch the same sorry playbook unfold—talk tough for the cameras, then kneel at the altar of globalist interests when it counts? Maybe one day they’ll realize the real path to “stability” starts right here, with American strength—not weakness and surrender.
