It says everything about the mainstream media that when an Iranian political prisoner dared to tell the truth about the Obama-era Iran deal, CNN couldn’t get to a commercial break fast enough. It’s classic liberal cowardice in action—run for cover every time reality shatters their carefully built fantasy.
Kian Tajbakhsh doesn’t need to shout or wave his arms. He’s lived in the hell that is Iran’s regime and knows exactly how long Iran has seen itself at war with America—it’s been that way since 1979, folks. Yet liberals still bury their heads in the sand, calling every military operation an “endless war” and acting surprised when Iran lashes out. This isn’t new. It’s been fifty years of the same—America playing the adult in the room, liberals pretending the bad guys just need a little more cash and another “historic” deal.
Here’s the truth CNN doesn’t want you to hear: The whole Obama nuclear deal was a disaster from the start. The brilliant crowd in Washington, more worried about winning Nobel Prizes and looking virtuous than actually keeping America safe, handed billions to the world’s leading terror sponsor and called it “peace.” Guess what that money did? It didn’t build schools or reform Iran. It propped up the regime, armed their proxies, and, whether the left likes it or not, helped set the stage for the Hamas terror attack on October 7. There’s a straight line, and anyone with a pair of eyes can see it.
But the second someone who knows the facts tries to connect these dots on air, CNN goes into panic mode—cut the camera, roll the ads, hide from the truth. The left can’t handle discussions that blow apart their phony narratives. They scream “trust the experts” as long as the experts agree with them. The minute someone tells real, inconvenient truths, it’s back to regular programming.
Obama’s foreign policy—the crown jewel the left loves to brag about—turned out as weak and naïve as his domestic disasters. He thought he could charm tyrants, and instead got played. While they throw their hands up in disbelief every time Iran crosses another red line, Americans pay the price.
Funny, isn’t it? The left hated Trump for calling out Iran and undoing the Obama deal. But under Trump, Iran knew where the line was. No billions for the mullahs, no silent handshakes under the table, and no appeasement. Real peace comes from strength, not groveling; yet liberals never learn. Maybe next time CNN goes to commercial, they should run a reel of all the Obama-era blunders that keep making the world less safe—for Americans and our allies.
