Once again, Washington is showing America just how broken it is. The House committee has gone back to the drawing board for kids’ online safety—again. That’s right, for at least the third time, politicians are rewriting a bill that’s supposed to protect our children from big tech’s claws. But what have they really accomplished? Absolutely nothing but more confusion and division.
Let’s get real. Every time liberal lawmakers touch something, they make it worse. Bipartisan support is slipping away like sand through their fingers, and why? The left just can’t help themselves. Instead of coming together to shield our kids from the dangers of the internet—predators, toxic social media, endless woke propaganda—they’d rather play political games, push their own agendas, and water down the bill beyond recognition.
Who suffers the most? Everyday American families. Parents who are sick of seeing their children exposed to garbage online, helpless because Congress would rather throw tantrums than get anything done. It’s always about power and control for the globalist elites—never about the safety of our citizens, least of all our kids.
These Washington insiders paint themselves as champions for children, but their record speaks for itself. They cozy up to big tech donors, line their own pockets, and then churn out useless legislation so full of holes it might as well not exist. Global corporate interests get richer, and American children pay the price.
If these politicians can’t get their act together and pass real protections for kids online, what good are they? Maybe it’s time to stop expecting liberals to safeguard our values—or our children. If America can’t trust its lawmakers to defend its families, maybe it’s time for some new lawmakers. Does Congress work for Big Tech, or does it work for us?
