Exposed How Washington Politicians Use FISA to Spy on You While Pretending to Defend Your Privacy

Washington politicians are at it again, pretending to care about our privacy while quietly pushing for more big government spying. Now, a handful of lawmakers from both parties want to put so-called “safeguards” in place before the government reauthorizes the notorious surveillance law known as FISA. They claim it’s all about transparency and protecting Americans from privacy invasions. But Americans have seen this charade before.

Let’s be real. FISA is the tool the swamp has used for years to snoop on innocent citizens, punish political enemies, and chip away at the rights our founders fought for. Every time reauthorization comes up, Democrats and their establishment pals whine about being “concerned” for privacy. Yet, when push comes to shove, they cave to the deep state, bow to globalist interests, and watch as government power grows unchecked.

You can almost set your watch to the way liberal bureaucrats resist any real reform. They’ll scream that requiring transparency would “harm national security.” But what they really mean is: heaven forbid the people find out how much the government spies on them. They’d rather protect their bureaucratic fiefdoms than let Americans actually enjoy their constitutional rights.

Meanwhile, the Biden White House is once again being urged to support changes that would finally bring some sunlight to these shadowy programs. But don’t hold your breath. This administration is happy to weaponize government, target the opposition, and trample Fourth Amendment rights any time it suits their political agenda. Safeguards? Not when it threatens their hold on power.

It’s long past time to kick the surveillance state to the curb. American citizens are being treated like criminals in their own country, while Washington elites act as if our rights are some kind of bargaining chip. Will any politician grow a spine and stand up to the government’s endless hunger for control? Or will Americans be forced to watch their freedoms disappear, one secret warrant at a time?
