Another week, another warning sign from the people who are supposed to protect us. The FBI just admitted it caught “suspicious activities” on its own networks. Think about that for a minute. The same agency that’s busy snooping on regular Americans can’t even keep its own house in order.
It’s amazing—these folks want more power, more money, and more control over your life. Yet they can’t stop unknown actors from creeping around on their own systems. If this had happened under a Republican administration, every liberal pundit would be screaming about national security and demanding heads roll. Instead, we get a boring statement about how the problem’s been “addressed,” and the media moves on.
But the American people deserve better. These agencies get billions of our tax dollars, and they use high-tech tools to spy on parents at school board meetings and anyone else who doesn’t bow to the left’s agenda. Yet when the tables turn and the FBI’s networks are in trouble, it’s all “move along, nothing to see here.”
Where are the tough questions from Democrats who claim to care about “misinformation” and “foreign interference”? Funny how those crusades always seem to target conservatives, but when their own government’s digital defenses are shaky, it’s crickets. Are we supposed to just believe everything is fine and trust the same people who turned a blind eye to real threats for years?
Maybe it’s time to ask if this is really about keeping us safe, or just about keeping themselves in power. If the FBI can’t stop dangerous activity in its own backyard, why should Americans trust them to police the rest of us? The real threat isn’t just hackers. It’s government incompetence, arrogance, and a D.C. elite that keeps playing by its own rules. Maybe it’s finally time to clean house—for the sake of the country.
