The left loves to cry about “domestic terrorism,” but stay silent when extremists threaten our nation’s core values. While the elites in Washington wring their hands over imaginary right-wing boogeymen, an actual would-be bomber from New Jersey just admitted to one of the most shocking anti-American plots we’ve seen in years—targeting not just a church, but also Supreme Court Justices, the White House, and the very heart of our government.
A 41-year-old man rolled up to St. Matthew’s Cathedral, the historic Catholic church in D.C., during the iconic Red Mass. This isn’t just any Sunday service—it’s an annual event packed with Supreme Court Justices, Cabinet officials, and leaders from across America. But this deranged individual didn’t come to pray. He camped out on the church steps, set up shop like he owned the place, and assembled over 100 homemade bombs inside his tent, right under law enforcement’s nose. His “demands” were the stuff of lunacy: cash handouts, five-star hotel stays, an escape to Japan, and even a call for the U.S. to kick Arizona out of the country.
And what was the left’s response? Where were the breathless headlines treating this as the terror attack it so clearly was? If the suspect had a MAGA hat, liberal media outlets would be howling for blood, blaming Trump, and calling every conservative a terrorist. But when the target is a Catholic church and Supreme Court Justices, the story stays buried.
What’s worse is how the liberal establishment’s constant attacks on religious Americans have paved the way for this madness. Political leaders and activist groups routinely mock Christians, demonize the Catholic Church, and try to erase faith from public life. Now we see what that kind of rhetoric brings: violence, terror threats, and attacks aimed right at the First Amendment right to worship.
Law enforcement managed to stop this threat before lives were lost, but imagine if one bomb had gone off. Picture the chaos if this maniac detonated a device at the doorstep of a packed cathedral, or the U.S. Capitol, or the Supreme Court. The carnage would have been unthinkable. Yet liberals want to keep our borders open, treat mental illness with Twitter hashtags, and let chaos run wild in our cities. How many more fanatics will feel emboldened by weak leaders and a woke justice system?
This was an act of hate—against our faith, our laws, and everything that makes America great. While the left plays games with gender politics and climate hysteria, real threats are gathering right at the front door. The question is: when will they finally admit that their own anti-American crusade is fueling the fire?
