New York City’s latest progressive rule forces you to tip big or go hungry

If you thought liberal insanity in New York City couldn’t get any worse, brace yourself. Progressives in charge of the Big Apple have just outdone themselves—again. Now they’ve turned food delivery into a sick little game of emotional blackmail. The message? If you don’t cough up a tip, you can kiss your cheeseburger goodbye.

It’s madness. These days, hungry customers put in their orders, but unless they slap on a generous tip upfront, some delivery apps are letting their food sit there and go cold. That means working Americans are being forced to throw even more money at the gig economy—on top of already sky-high prices—just so they can eat a warm meal. And why? Because radical city leaders would rather pander to activists than make fair policy.

Instead of fixing the ridiculous cost of living in their city, Democrat politicians want regular people—families, seniors, and struggling young workers—to be guilted into paying extra just to get basic service. It’s classic leftist thinking: never fix a problem when you can bleed the public dry and call it justice. Who cares if New Yorkers end up penniless, as long as radical political groups can brag about “equity”?

Let’s not forget, these are the same Democrats who flooded the streets with crime, destroyed local businesses with lockdowns, and now seem shocked that nothing works anymore. The globalist crowd loves to preach about fairness, but it’s always hardworking Americans left holding the bag. Their bright idea? Turn dinner into a hostage situation. Don’t pay a higher tip? No food for you. It’s the kind of policy you’d expect from a banana republic, not the so-called greatest city in the world.

Stop pretending these “progressive” policies help the little guy. It’s all about showboating for the woke mob and squeezing every drop of cash from taxpayers and workers alike. Maybe next time, instead of ordering a pizza, regular folks should just ask their city leaders for a side of common sense. Too bad that’s the one thing you can’t get delivered in New York City anymore.
