It’s always the same tired script from the Democrat playbook. At Jesse Jackson’s funeral—a moment supposedly meant for unity and reflection—Barack Obama and Joe Biden just couldn’t resist. They used the occasion to take swipes at President Trump, though they didn’t have the courage to say his name out loud. This isn’t new, and it’s certainly not classy. Americans mourn, but Democrats politick.
Obama loves to take the spotlight at these national moments and turn them into attacks on Trump and his supporters. Biden is no different. They claim they want to heal the country, but all they do is stir up division. They won’t say Trump’s name, because deep down, they know he still haunts their every move. Their ideas are so weak, the only way they can rally their base is by leaning on their favorite boogeyman.
Even Bill Clinton showed up but managed to keep his focus away from Trump. Say what you will about Clinton, but at least he showed some respect for the tone of the day. Too bad Biden and Obama don’t have that level of self-control. They can’t stand not being the center of attention, and they’ll hijack any platform—even a funeral—to push their globalist, anti-American agenda.
The hypocrisy is shocking but predictable. These are the same liberals who scream about “respecting norms” and “coming together.” Yet, every chance they get, they use solemn moments to attack their political opponents—never offering real solutions, never getting their own house in order. Biden and Obama want you to forget all about their failed leadership, their endless apologies to foreign nations, their open borders, and their soft-on-crime policies.
These liberals can’t handle the fact that Trump is still on their minds—and he’s still on the minds of millions of Americans who are sick of the radical left. Instead of offering hope or unity, Obama and Biden showed exactly why Americans are desperate for real leadership. The only thing they unite us around is our disgust for political games at the worst possible times. When will Democrats learn that America is tired of their lectures?
