Gavin Newsom and his Democrat cronies love to plaster “pro-family” on all their talking points, but let’s face it—the facts tell a totally different story. California, once the dream for so many Americans chasing a better life, has turned into a nightmare for parents and kids alike. Families aren’t just packing up for greener pastures because of the cost of gas or housing. They’re fleeing because Sacramento’s priorities are upside down, putting woke ideology ahead of basic parental rights, safety, and common sense.
Take a good look at how California’s schools now operate. Bureaucrats eagerly keep parents in the dark about their own children’s struggles and private decisions, especially when it comes to sensitive issues like gender and mental health. Parents in Newsom’s world are bystanders, not guardians. It took a Supreme Court smackdown for California to realize that it can’t keep secrets from moms and dads while letting confused children take major steps without parental love and guidance. This isn’t family-friendly. It’s state overreach, plain and simple.
It’s even worse for parents who don’t bend the knee to the left’s dogma. Try disagreeing with the “new rules” and California threatens to take your child away. CPS will come knocking if you don’t “affirm” whatever is fashionable at Sacramento’s woke headquarters this week. The state has set itself up as the ultimate authority, robbing parents of their right to shape their children’s lives and values. But what do you expect from politicians who treat parents as the enemy and let activists write the laws?
And the lunacy doesn’t stop there. Newsom and his pals have made it nearly impossible for Christian families to foster children—just another case of stamping out faith to please the radical fringe. While California blocks loving Christian parents from helping vulnerable kids, the foster system is swamped and child sex-trafficking flourishes. Let’s not forget that California lawmakers have decriminalized sex work, which only fuels abuse and exploitation, especially among young, at-risk girls. That’s how California “protects” its kids?
For the families who remain, so-called “benefits” like parental leave are a joke, capped and watered down by bureaucratic red tape. Meanwhile, Newsom lashes out at other states standing up for the unborn, never caring if women and girls are actually safe. Even the Hollywood elite are packing up and moving their kids out of California because they know the truth—the state is broken.
Newsom can call himself “pro-family” all day, but the facts are clear: his California is anti-parent, anti-child, and anti-family. If America wanted a preview of his presidency, just look at the mass exodus from the Golden State. Is there anything left for families under this governor, besides the door out?
