James Talarico, the Democrats’ latest darling in Texas, has launched one of the most radical campaigns for Senate in recent memory. He parades around as a “progressive Christian Democrat,” but his politics are anything but Christian or pro-life. According to Talarico, the Bible supposedly backs abortion. That wild claim is based on a warped reading of the story when the Angel Gabriel visited Mary. Instead of recognizing that Mary accepted God’s will—showing true faith—Talarico twists scripture to push the left’s agenda. That’s either ignorance or deliberate deception, because nowhere in the Bible does God treat life as disposable.
But what really exposes Talarico is his shameless push to turn Texas into an abortion sanctuary. In a letter to Joe Biden, he begged the administration to open abortion clinics on federal land, right inside government buildings across the state. He even floated the idea of making abortionists federal employees, hoping to shield them from state laws and lawsuits. This is what Democrats call “freedom”—using your tax dollars to bankroll abortion on demand and crush the will of Texas voters.
It’s nothing short of an attack on state rights and the American system. The Supreme Court kicked abortion laws back to the states for a reason—to let local voters decide, not Washington elites. But Talarico doesn’t care. He knows most Texans oppose abortion extremism. So he wants to bulldoze their choices with federal power and back-alley political games. This is big government at its absolute worst, and it spits in the face of democracy.
Talarico’s hypocrisy goes even deeper. He can’t define what a woman is, except when it fits his fear-mongering about abortion. Suddenly, he is very sure of who needs “abortion care.” He insists that killing unborn babies is life-saving, while ignoring the real dangers—like how the abortion industry has covered up abuse and harmed young girls for years. And while he accuses pro-life Americans of being “extremists,” it’s his party that wants abortion clinics on every street corner, even pushing for abortions up through birth.
Here’s the bottom line: Democrats like Talarico never stop pushing for more abortion, no matter how many lives are lost. They treat parenthood as a burden and motherhood as a threat to personal freedom. They think America can’t be free unless it’s easy to kill the unborn. That’s not progress—that’s barbaric. And for all his bold plans, Talarico forgets one simple fact: Democrats won’t hold the presidency forever. Federal abortion clinics can vanish just as fast as they appear—if the American people stand up and say enough is enough.
Are we really supposed to let out-of-touch liberals in D.C. overrule Texas families? Are we just going to hand over our values for the sake of the abortion lobby? Not a chance.
