President Trump is once again doing what weak Republicans and left-wing globalists refuse to do—demanding action instead of empty promises. He’s laid it out, plain and simple: before handing out any precious endorsements in critical Texas races, he wants the SAVE America Act on his desk, signed, sealed, and ready. This isn’t just political posturing. It’s common sense leadership, and it exposes just how little Democrats care about securing our elections.
Let’s be honest—only an out-of-touch liberal would argue that proof of citizenship to vote is anything but necessary. The open borders crowd twists themselves into knots to defend “voter rights,” while fighting tooth and nail to keep non-citizens rolling up to the ballot box. Meanwhile, everyday Americans watch their cities flood with illegal immigrants and wonder how many of them are slipping through the cracks, ready to sway elections that should only belong to citizens.
Where has the backbone been from so-called Republican leaders like Thune and Cornyn? Trump is calling them out, holding their feet to the fire. It’s about time. For too long, Republican insiders have played nice with the globalist agenda, terrified of being called names by the corporate press or the radical left. Trump isn’t scared. He knows exactly what’s at stake, especially in Texas—a state liberals are dying to turn blue by any means necessary.
The Democrats scream “racism” or “voter suppression” at the mere mention of voter ID, but don’t they show ID to buy a six-pack or to check into a hotel? Requiring proof of citizenship to vote is the bare minimum for a functioning democracy—unless, of course, you don’t actually want one. The left pretends to protect democracy while actively undermining it at every turn.
Let’s stop pretending this is controversial. Americans deserve election integrity. President Trump refuses to play along with RINO excuses or Democrat sabotage. He’s daring his own party to choose—stand up for American voters, or get left behind. If Texas Republicans want Trump’s stamp of approval, they’d better prove they have the guts to defend the vote. Is that really too much to ask?
