The mask has slipped. More than 50 Democrats just refused to state the obvious—that the Iranian regime is the world’s top sponsor of terrorism. This isn’t up for debate. The ayatollahs have a long track record funding Hezbollah, Hamas, and all kinds of groups who chant “Death to America.” But apparently, that’s just too awkward for the modern Democratic Party.
Why won’t these Democrats call out Iran for what it is? Their silence speaks volumes. They love to act tough on “domestic threats,” going after parents and conservatives at home. But when a real enemy stands up—one that kills Americans and threatens our allies—they get cold feet. Are they afraid of offending their globalist buddies or just can’t bring themselves to admit that their foreign policy has been a disaster?
It’s hard to ignore this double standard. The left never hesitates to label their opponents “extremists,” yet coddle the worst regimes on earth. The world watched as cash payouts to Iran under Democrat administrations only made the ayatollahs richer and bolder. Every missile fired at Israel and every attack on U.S. forces abroad has Iranian fingerprints all over it. Democrats act like turning a blind eye will somehow keep us safe.
Let’s face it—America needs leaders who are willing to call a terrorist a terrorist. Tiptoeing around the truth just emboldens our enemies. Weakness from the left only invites more chaos, as it always has. And when Democratic lawmakers won’t even say Iran is the main terror sponsor on the planet, that’s not just ignorance. That’s dangerous.
Who do these Democrats really stand with—American families or the mullahs in Tehran? At this point, it looks like they’ve made their choice.
