It’s another day in the swamp, and yet again the so-called “progressives” are showing America their true colors. This time, it’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the liberal darling who’s always wagging her finger about women’s rights and equality—until, of course, it actually matters. Right now, AOC is standing in the way of letting the public see sexual harassment records in Congress. Shocking? Not if you’ve been paying attention.
Rep. Nancy Mace wants sunshine in the halls of power. She demands transparency—she wants the American people to know how many politicians are using taxpayer money to hide sexual misconduct. You would think, in this era of “believe all women,” the Squad would be lining up to help. But not AOC. Suddenly, the Democrat playbook does a 180. When it’s one of their own at risk of exposure, they want the spotlight turned off.
For years, these liberal elites have lectured the rest of us about “accountability” and “standing up for victims.” Yet when it comes to Congress’s dirty laundry—potentially implicating fellow Democrats—they run for cover. The hypocrisy reeks. If Republicans ever tried to bury evidence like this, there would be calls for resignations, primetime investigations, and wall-to-wall coverage on CNN.
This is exactly how Washington works. The globalist, America-last crowd will use any tool if it hurts conservatives, but the second their own secrets might come out, they fight tooth and nail to keep them buried. Who are they really protecting? Certainly not victims. It’s all about saving their own political skins.
What happened to the loud voices who shout about women’s empowerment? Why are they suddenly silent when transparency might expose their club’s bad actors? Maybe “believe all women” is just a campaign slogan after all. Is anyone surprised? This is today’s Democrat party—rules for thee, not for me. If AOC can’t even stand up against sexual harassment in her own backyard, what good are these woke politicians, anyway?
