Joe Biden showed up in Chicago this week and once again couldn’t help himself. At the memorial service for Jesse Jackson, Biden grabbed the mic and decided it was all about him. Instead of keeping it classy, Biden made the moment about his so-called “intelligence,” declaring he thinks he’s smarter than everyone in the room. Can anyone name a single time this man has acted humble? Hard to believe, considering the embarrassing gaffes, the constant confusion, and the endless mistakes he’s made as president.
This is Biden in a nutshell—arrogant, out of touch, and absolutely convinced he knows better than the people he claims to serve. Only a career politician like him would use a memorial service to pound his chest and insult the crowd. Maybe that’s par for the course with Biden: talking down to Americans, acting like his disastrous policies are the only way forward, and refusing to listen to voices outside his own echo chamber.
What’s more infuriating is the way liberals keep pretending their leader is some sort of wise grandfather figure. This is the same man who’s let our border collapse, ruined our economy, and put globalist interests ahead of American citizens. Does “smart” mean tanking our energy independence? Is it genius to let inflation crush hardworking families or to lecture us all on what we should think or believe?
Let’s be honest—the American people are tired of being lectured by elites who look down their noses at flyover country. Biden’s comments in Chicago aren’t just disrespectful, they’re a slap in the face to every working American who’s been steamrolled by Bidenomics. While he rubs elbows with the left-wing establishment and sings his own praises, the rest of the country is stuck picking up the pieces from his failures.
Maybe Biden really does think he’s smarter than everyone else. Or maybe—just maybe—he’s the only one who hasn’t noticed the mess he’s made. If this is what “smart” looks like, America deserves a whole lot better.
