Liberal elites salute Jesse Jackson while crime soars and Americans pay the price

The liberal elites lined up to throw a grand spectacle for Jesse Jackson Sr.—a “civil rights leader” whose legacy is tangled in decades of race-baiting and big government pandering. The parade of politicians that filled the room should make every American shake their head. Former presidents, current governors, and the usual crowd from Chicago were all-too-eager to honor a man whose so-called activism did more to divide than to unite this country.

As television cameras rolled, the so-called celebration turned into a left-wing victory lap. These politicians just love to show off, using every opportunity to virtue signal, pat each other on the back, and push their tired narratives about oppression and victimhood. Meanwhile, everyday Americans are stuck footing the bill for their bloated programs and failed promises.

Jesse Jackson built his brand preaching about equality, but his fans forget his history of race hustling and cozying up to big-name Democrats. They claim to fight for the underdog but only seem to make life harder for working families: higher taxes, weaker communities, and endless excuses. When liberals gather to honor one of their own, you better believe it’s just another excuse to push their globalist, anti-American agenda.

After all the cameras turned off, Jackson’s family and inner circle met for a quieter goodbye. Funny how, when the political theater ends, you’re left with the real legacy—a divided country, failed urban policies, and streets plagued by crime. Chicago is ground zero for the disasters of progressive politics, yet the liberal establishment chooses to celebrate it.

Isn’t it something? The powerful left throws itself a televised party for a race-obsessed leader while millions of Americans can’t even walk their streets in safety. In the end, the only thing they’re really united on is keeping themselves in power. When will the rest of America wake up and say: enough is enough?
