Texas voters expose establishment Republicans faking the MAGA act

It’s always funny when Democrats try to tell Republicans who counts as the “real” deal. That’s exactly what’s happening in Texas, where Rep. Jasmine Crockett is busy handing out gold stars to Senator John Cornyn for playing the low-key, establishment Republican. She says Cornyn is only acting like a MAGA warrior to please voters, but deep down, he’s one of them—one of the “nice” Republicans liberals wish all conservatives would imitate.

Let’s be honest—DC elites like Cornyn have spent years avoiding the America-First movement. They’re comfortable rubbing elbows with globalists and surrendering our borders. Suddenly, when conservative voters demand strength, they start acting tough and waving the MAGA banner. But Texas isn’t buying their act. Voters want bold leaders, not politicians worried about cocktail party invitations in Washington.

Of course Democrats love it when Republicans play polite. They miss the old days, when “real” Republicans rolled over on key issues like border security and protecting American jobs. The left wants weak opposition—Republicans who talk big but break into a sweat at the first sign of a CNN camera. Meanwhile, Texas is fighting to keep its communities safe from Biden’s open border disaster and the crime wave no one in DC wants to solve.

Senators trying to split the difference between traditional conservatism and MAGA firepower only expose the rotten core of establishment politics. The era of go-along, get-along Republicans is finished. If someone stands shoulder to shoulder with MAGA, it better be for real—not just political theater. Otherwise, they’re just helping the left cling to power and undermine everything that makes America great.

Texans don’t want their leaders “pretending.” They want warriors who will stand up to Biden, call out liberal failures, and fight every single day to put America first—not just when it’s convenient. Maybe it’s time the establishment got the message. How many more fake tough guys does the Republican Party need before it finally remembers who it’s supposed to fight for?
