After 47 Years of Weakness Washington Finally Stands Up to Iran

For almost half a century, Iran has been playing games with America. They never stopped seeing us as the enemy—not for forty-seven years. Now, finally, someone in Washington seems to have woken up and realized we can’t just sit around and let our enemies walk all over us. It should never have taken this long for our leaders to act, but at least some folks are finally growing a spine.

It’s laughable to think the D.C. establishment even needs a reminder of Iran’s long and dirty history. The mullahs have been funding terror, screaming “death to America,” and orchestrating attacks on our people since before most of us were born. And yet, for decades, liberals and globalists wanted “diplomacy”—as if weak-kneed negotiations with thugs do anything but encourage more hatred and violence.

The left has tried to blame America for Iran’s aggression, act like we brought it on ourselves, and looked for excuses to send money to the same regime that wants us dead. Remember Obama shipping pallets of cash to Tehran? Did that buy us peace? Of course not. It just showed Iran America can be played for fools if the right people are in charge.

That’s why, when someone in Congress actually says it’s time to act instead of cower, it matters. Taking action isn’t warmongering—it’s self-defense. Letting Iran call the shots has gotten Americans killed. Playing nice got us nowhere. Appeasement is not strategy, it’s surrender, and America’s enemies only respect strength.

When will the left learn that standing up to our enemies is the only way to keep peace? Maybe it’s time for more of our so-called leaders to stop apologizing for America and start defending her. The enemies of freedom are watching. Will America finally show the world what real leadership looks like, or keep letting globalists decide our fate?
