America can finally exhale—at least a little. After weeks of chaos in the Middle East, a U.S. oil tanker has made it through the Strait of Hormuz. It’s the first crack in a blockade that’s been squeezing our fuel supply, and more importantly, squeezing the wallets of ordinary American families. Frankly, it never should have gotten to this point.
It’s no surprise gas prices have skyrocketed. When you hand our energy policy over to clueless green liberals and globalist bureaucrats, this is what happens. They shut down our pipelines, bash our oil industry, and then act shocked when America’s energy security hangs by a thread. While everyday Americans pay more at the pump, these out-of-touch elites continue sipping lattes in their electric cars, lecturing the rest of us on “climate justice.” Who pays the price? Regular working folks who can’t afford to fill their tanks.
President Trump’s Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, announced Sunday that we finally have a tanker moving through the world’s most dangerous waterway. This isn’t just news—it’s a wake-up call. The Strait of Hormuz is the beating heart of global oil shipping. All it takes is for one enemy to flex their muscles, and suddenly the whole planet is teetering on an energy crisis. Yet Democrats keep playing politics with our oil, crippling our own industries while letting foreign regimes hold us hostage.
Let’s be clear: radical climate policies don’t “save the earth”—they just make us weaker. When you’re dependent on foreign oil because you refuse to drill and build at home, you hand power to people who hate us. Liberals love to talk about “renewables,” but windmills and solar panels don’t put gas in the truck that brings food to your grocery store.
Maybe now America will finally wake up. We need real leadership that puts American energy first—not empty slogans and international hand-wringing. Can we afford to depend on global bullies, or should we unleash our own resources and take charge of our future? The answer couldn’t be more obvious.
