Biden team shrugs as gas prices soar and Americans struggle to pay for groceries and fuel

Once again, the Biden administration is asleep at the wheel while American families brace for the pain of higher gas prices. Their Energy Secretary is out there trying to calm the storm, telling us all not to worry, that these rising oil prices won’t last because of the Iran conflict. Apparently, we’re all just “emotional” and overreacting. That’s rich—especially coming from the same crew that said inflation would be “transitory,” and look how that turned out.

This is classic liberal gaslighting. The Left keeps refusing to accept reality, pretending that what’s happening in the Middle East is just a fleeting bump in the road. They don’t get that every time instability flares up, American citizens pay the price at the pump. It’s not just some abstract “market reaction.” It’s real dollars out of our pockets. But, hey, nothing matters as long as they can keep up the illusion of control.

Let’s be honest—everything this administration does endangers our energy security. Instead of putting America first and unleashing our own oil and gas, they kneel before global green bureaucrats, shut down pipelines, and go to bat for radical climate activists. Now, when conflict erupts overseas, we’re more vulnerable than ever. Meanwhile, hardworking families wonder how they’ll fill up their tanks this week and still afford to put groceries on the table.

It takes a special kind of arrogance to brush off people’s pain at the pump as hysterics or “fear.” This is exactly what you get when you let climate-obsessed ideologues run the show. They build America’s energy policy around feelings and fads, not strength and independence. And when their globalist plans backfire and world events spike oil prices, they’re quick with a press conference but never with solutions.

Maybe the Biden team can stomach these price hikes, but real Americans can’t. If this is what “energy leadership” looks like, we’re in real trouble. Isn’t it time for leaders who actually fight for lower energy costs and American energy freedom, instead of blaming Americans for reacting to the chaos they helped create?
