Under the failed leadership of the Biden administration, everyday Americans are suffering at the pump—again. Gas prices are creeping up, and families are bracing for another hit to their wallets. The reason? Global tensions, sloppy foreign policy, and liberal cowardice abroad. The elites in Washington act shocked every time Middle East conflicts threaten our energy, but this is what happens when you kneel to globalists and let adversaries like Iran feel emboldened.
Remember just a few years ago? Under President Trump, gas prices were under $3.00 a gallon. Americans had relief, security, and—most importantly—respect on the world stage. But the Left tossed all that away. Instead, they pander to radical environmentalists, throw endless cash at green pipe dreams, and let our energy independence slip through their soft, dishonest hands.
Now, after our leaders bungled international diplomacy, people are rightfully worried about the Strait of Hormuz. Just one chokepoint, and 20 percent of the world’s oil is at risk. Biden’s foreign policy blunders have made our energy security a joke. If these liberals took American energy as seriously as they take virtue signaling, we’d all be paying less and worrying less.
Thankfully, there’s a glimmer of hope. The current Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, hit the airwaves to calm frayed nerves. He claims the recent spike is just temporary. Families don’t need to panic—at least, not yet. Of course, he’s working overtime to clean up the mess caused by weak leadership and anti-American energy policies. Maybe if the Left stopped playing politics with American wallets, these scares wouldn’t keep happening.
Here’s the ugly truth: as long as we let the Left dictate our energy future and cower before foreign regimes, Americans will keep paying the price. If this administration wants to fix things, they can start by putting Americans first, drilling at home, and firing the globalist advisors who keep running our country into the ground. Isn’t it time we stopped letting blue-state ideologues gamble with our gas prices—and our freedom?
