The world woke up to another disgraceful attack on American interests, this time in supposedly peaceful Norway. Norwegian police are scrambling to handle the aftermath of an explosion outside the U.S. Embassy in Oslo. Once again, the message is loud and clear: America is under attack—even in nations that pretend to be our friends.

Let’s not ignore how European governments love to lecture the United States on security and tolerance, but when real trouble strikes, the cracks start to show. Leftist leaders and bureaucrats in Norway have spent years focusing on diversity and appeasement. What did they get? A bomb at the door of our embassy. So much for their progressive miracle. When criminals and radicals see weakness, they act.

But don’t expect the mainstream media or the left to call this what it is. They’ll find every excuse, point the finger at so-called “root causes,” or even blame America for “provoking” something. That’s what globalists do—they bend over backwards to avoid offending anyone except Americans. Our embassies should be safe and respected, but it’s clear that in today’s world, even the most basic security can’t be taken for granted under liberal incompetence.

What’s most outrageous is how quickly politicians and talking heads will downplay the situation, worried more about their international image than about American lives. They demand open borders and weak policing, then feign shock when violence lands right at our front door. This should be a warning: ignoring security and American strength has consequences, even in the heart of Scandinavia.

Here’s the ugly truth—the world only respects real power and resolve. If the left keeps selling out American interests to dangerous globalist ideas, attacks like this will only get bolder. Why should any American, anywhere on earth, feel safe when our leaders treat security as an afterthought? Maybe it’s time for Norway—and every other country pretending to be civilized—to remember who protects freedom in this world.
