Iran’s Dictatorship Swaps Tyrants in the Dark—And the World Shrugs
You’d think when a rogue regime picks a brand-new dictator, the world would want to know who’s pulling the strings. But in Iran, the petty tyrants in black robes swap out one Supreme Leader for another and keep it all a secret—like they’re casting a Netflix villain, not running a country with missiles aimed at Israel and terrorist proxies everywhere. Sadly, the elites in Washington and their friends at the UN seem to think secrecy and manipulation in Tehran is just business as usual.
Iran’s shadowy clerics have already chosen the next Supreme Leader. That’s a fact. But they aren’t telling anyone which hardliner is set to take the throne. Why? Because the real power in Iran has nothing to do with “the will of the people.” It never has. It’s about keeping the real bosses—the ayatollahs and their goons—protected and rich, while ordinary Iranians suffer under Islamic law. Meanwhile, America’s liberals send them pallets of cash and call it “diplomacy.”
Just look at what this secret means. Iran is making huge moves on the world stage: funding terror armies from Gaza to Yemen, threatening our ally Israel, and ramping up its nuclear program. Now, with a new Supreme Leader waiting in the wings, the entire region stands on a knife’s edge. Let’s be blunt—this is the world’s number one sponsor of terrorism, and they won’t even admit who’s running the show.
If conservatives controlled the White House, you can bet none of this would fly. But globalist elites act like Iran’s secrecy is no big deal. They care more about appeasing radicals than defending American interests. How does that help U.S. families or make any of us safer? It doesn’t. It just shows how weak and feckless the left has become on foreign policy.
So here we are: Iran shuffles dictators in the dark, the threat to America and our allies grows, and the liberal establishment shrugs. Maybe they’d rather not know who’s calling the shots in Tehran—because facing the truth would mean admitting their whole “engagement” with Iran has been a disaster. When will we finally get serious about stopping these fanatics? Or is pretending not to notice easier for the left than actually defending freedom?
