Donald Trump isn’t playing footsie with America’s enemies. Unlike the limp-wristed foreign policy disasters of the last few decades, Trump is making it crystal clear: the United States isn’t pulling punches against the radical regime in Iran. As airstrikes hammer Iranian military targets—and as Tehran’s leaders throw their usual tantrums—it’s no surprise that talk is heating up about ground troops. Trump isn’t ruling it out, and honestly, that’s a refreshing change from the cowardly dithering you get from today’s Democrat appeasers.
While liberal pundits melt down at the very thought of boots on the ground, reality bites: Iran hasn’t stopped poking the bear. Airstrikes have battered their military, yet the regime refuses to get the message, responding with reckless attacks of their own. The left always wishes America would just “lead from behind” and pray our enemies go away—news flash, that’s not how the world works. Sometimes, peace means showing strength, not weakness.
Trump knows that American lives and interests come first. He’s not itching for war, but he refuses to give Iran blank checks to threaten U.S. soldiers, our allies, or the safety of the world. Contrast that with years of Obama-Biden globalism: pallets of cash flying to Tehran, pathetic “red lines,” and a nuclear deal that let the Ayatollah laugh in our faces. Those policies emboldened tyrants, not peace. Trump’s no-nonsense approach is what a real commander-in-chief looks like.
The globalist establishment and their media cheerleaders hate it when an American president puts America first. They wring their hands about “escalation,” forgetting that the real threat comes from letting terror regimes think we’re asleep at the wheel. Liberals seem to care more about what the U.N. thinks than keeping Americans safe. But Trump doesn’t answer to European bureaucrats or Beltway cocktail parties—he answers to the people.
This isn’t the time for the usual hand-wringing and political games. America tried appeasement, and we got chaos. Now, with Iran feeling the heat, it’s about time our enemies remembered who leads the free world. Is it really so shocking that Trump is keeping every option on the table? For too long, the only thing liberals have kept on the table is surrender. Wouldn’t it be nice if Washington spent less time worrying about hurting enemy feelings—and more time keeping Americans safe?
