Media panic over gas prices ignores Trump boom as liberals pray for economic collapse

The so-called “experts” and left-wing pundits have been talking nonstop about President Trump’s economic promises for 2026. Instead of cheering on American success, they’re practically drooling at the chance to report the first sign of trouble. Gas prices tick up, a few jobs get lost, and suddenly the media acts like the sky is falling. Never mind that under Trump, the economy has been in better shape than it ever was under Biden’s regulatory chokehold.

For years, liberals told us America’s best days were behind us. Fact is, Trump resurrected Main Street and put the globalists on notice: we’re putting America first. Now, the left is desperate to nitpick every bump in the road, conveniently ignoring the thriving businesses, new jobs created over the last few years, and the fact that no one wants to go back to the failed policies of the Democrats.

Let’s get real. Rising gas prices? That’s what happens when you let OPEC and climate alarmists have too much control. The left would rather have us ride bicycles and live in the dark than actually drill for oil and unleash American energy. When President Trump pushes for energy independence, it’s the “woke” mobs and climate nuts who throw up roadblocks at every turn—then whine when they have to pay more at the pump.

So yes, 2026 isn’t off to a perfect start. But ask yourself: would you rather go back to the days of economic stagnation, endless government handouts, and bureaucrats telling us how to live our lives? President Trump delivered for the working class, supported small businesses, and reminded everyone who’s really in charge—the American people, not Washington elites or foreign interests.

Liberals can keep rooting for America’s failure, but true patriots know better. The Trump economy is about strength, freedom, and putting our country first—despite the left’s endless sabotage. If the worst thing we face is some early-year jitters, maybe that just proves how high the bar has been set. Are we really supposed to trust the same people who called inflation “transitory,” or will Americans wake up and reject the left’s doom-and-gloom fairy tales for good?
