Obama gave billions to Iran and now the world is paying the price

Barack Obama promised hope and change, but what he delivered was naïveté and disaster—especially when it came to Iran. Remember 11 years ago, when the Obama administration bent over backwards to appease the world’s top state sponsor of terror? Back then, they handed over pallets of cash and opened the diplomatic floodgates. The results were exactly what real conservatives warned about: more power and more money for Iran’s corrupt regime.

At the time, very few in Washington had the backbone to call out this dangerous deal. But one Florida Republican, Marco Rubio, refused to play along. He saw this so-called “deal” for what it really was—an outright gift to radical Islamists who hate everything America stands for. While Democrats lined up to praise Obama and pat themselves on the back for being “peacemakers,” Rubio was one of the few calling out the obvious risks: funding terror, undermining our allies, and putting Americans in danger.

Liberals promised Obama’s Iran plan would make the world safer. That’s laughable. Look at the Middle East today: Iran is more aggressive than ever, funding chaos in every direction. Do Democrats even care? Or are they so obsessed with their globalist fantasies that they’ll ignore the price paid by soldiers, families, and our closest partners overseas? This wasn’t just bad policy—it was anti-American, plain and simple.

Let’s not forget the hypocrisy, either. If any Republican president had shipped billions to a terrorist regime, the media would have gone nuclear. But when Obama did it, it was suddenly “historic” and “bold.” That’s a double standard Americans are sick and tired of seeing. No country with any self-respect would bankroll its own enemies for a cheap headline.

This isn’t just ancient history. We’re still living with the fallout of Obama’s reckless decisions. Every missile Iran launches, every attack on innocent people—those are paid for by the weakness and incompetence of American liberals who’d rather coddle dictators than defend our nation. How many more “deals” do we have to suffer through before the left admits they were wrong? Or are Democrats just too busy apologizing for America to care about the consequences of their failures?
