Once again, Virginia Democrats are playing fast and loose with our nation’s history. Their latest move? Forcing teachers across the Commonwealth to slap the label of “insurrection” on the events of January 6th. They aren’t asking questions or teaching kids to think for themselves. They’re dictating what is true and what kids are allowed to believe — like some leftist regime out of a bad history book.
Let’s be honest. The big government liberals running Virginia schools do not care about facts. They care about pushing a political agenda. They see conservatives as the enemy, patriots as “threats,” and anyone who questions them as a danger to their power. With this new rule, they’re setting up young minds to hate half the country. Imagine being forced to parrot government-approved lines in class, or get graded down. So much for free thought.
Instead of teaching real American history, Virginia’s liberals want propaganda. They want our kids to trust the state, not their parents. They want kids to spit back what the Democrat machine tells them. There’s no talk about the summer of left-wing riots, no mention of actual violence from Antifa or BLM. It’s only their side that gets a free pass — everyone else is branded and shamed.
This isn’t education. It’s brainwashing. The left wants to erase questions, concerns, and genuine historic debate. One story fits all, and if you disagree, you’re wrong. They don’t teach the government’s role in locking down our freedoms or destroying small businesses. Their only lesson is to follow the crowd, do what you’re told, and never challenge the narrative.
Why are Democrats so afraid of the truth? Why do they have to force their version of events? When politicians write the textbooks, our kids are the ones who pay. Patriots in Virginia and across this country need to wake up. If the liberals get their way, soon enough, anything that questions their rule will be called an “insurrection” — and our children will never know what freedom actually means.
