It looks like the woke crowd has invaded our churches, too. Now, a group of left-wing evangelical leaders is blaming America’s problems on something they call “white Christian nationalism.” Instead of standing up for biblical values or protecting Christians who are under attack, these folks are more interested in siding with the radical left and trashing fellow believers. Clearly, for some, it’s become more fashionable to chase fads and social justice slogans than to stand firm on faith and freedom.
What’s really going on here? These so-called Christian leaders just can’t hide their distaste for traditional America. Rather than speak out against genuine threats—from lawlessness in our streets to attacks on religious liberty—they’d rather chase leftist talking points. Blaming their fellow Christians for the country’s troubles makes them popular in elite cocktail circles but does nothing to help struggling American families.
This is pure hypocrisy. Just a few years ago, nobody even heard of “Christian nationalism.” Suddenly, it’s the biggest threat around—according to people who drink fair-trade coffee and talk more about climate change than the Cross. Instead of fighting for strong families and secure borders, these left-leaning evangelicals want to lecture hard-working Americans about “privilege.” They’d love to see Christianity become just another brand of progressive activism—meaningless, harmless, and easily ignored.
Let’s not pretend for a second that this is really about faith. It’s about power and politics. The liberal elites running these church coalitions don’t care about standing up for Christ. They care about looking good on CNN and scoring points with globalist bureaucrats. They’d rather attack a Republican administration than challenge the left-wing mobs burning cities or silencing free speech.
America needs churches that are strong and fearless, not Sunday-morning echo chambers for leftist nonsense. If these so-called leaders spent half as much time defending our country as they do attacking their own people, maybe we’d see the revival our nation needs. Or is the real sin daring to stand up for America in the first place?
