It’s happened again, folks: another body found in a canal, another tragedy that leaves families broken, and the mainstream media either clueless or silent about who’s to blame. Police in Phoenix recently identified the dead woman discovered near a canal—and let’s be clear, this is a battered body, left nameless and unprotected by a society that’s spinning out of control. Investigators say it’s not Nancy Guthrie, the elderly mother of the massively overpaid “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie, who disappeared over a month ago in Tucson. But that’s hardly comforting.
What actually IS comforting these days? Not much, when Americans can’t even go for a walk without fearing for their lives. The left loves to act upset every time there’s a national tragedy, but when it comes to securing our neighborhoods, supporting law enforcement, or punishing criminals, suddenly they’ve lost their voices. Sanctuary city policies and soft-on-crime prosecutors have paved the way for chaos. Liberals want open borders and “restorative justice” while regular Americans pay the price with their safety.
It’s obvious that these violent crimes are no accident—they’re the result of broken priorities and failed policies. Radical politicians have turned law and order into a punchline, then pretend to be shocked when mothers, grandmothers, and daughters disappear. The biggest names in media make a spectacle out of a missing person case only when they can spin it for ratings, especially when it’s one of their own. Meanwhile, the rest of everyday Americans dealing with fear and uncertainty barely get a mention.
Somehow, there’s always money for globalist pet projects and foreign wars, but can we get leaders to protect our streets right here at home? Not a chance. Instead, hardworking citizens are told to trust politicians who couldn’t keep a lemonade stand safe, much less an entire community. These are the same elites who pontificate about “compassion” while women are found dead in our canals, their families desperate for answers.
America isn’t dark and dangerous by accident—it’s been MADE that way by out-of-touch leftists and cowardly leaders who care more about optics than actual justice. How many lives will it take before the woke crowd admits their virtue signaling is nothing but empty theater? Maybe the next tragic headline will finally force real accountability. Or will the liberal playbook stay the same: Hide, blame, and repeat?
