GOP Senate Nominee Sparks Outrage with Taliban Style Niqab Reveal

North Carolina is turning heads, but not for the reasons hardworking Americans want. The GOP’s North Carolina Senate nominee in District 22, Lakeshia Alston, has decided to make headlines by strutting around in what looks like a full-blown Taliban-inspired niqab. Let’s not kid ourselves—this kind of stunt isn’t what Main Street conservatives voted for.

While Democrats want to tell us masculinity is toxic and American values are outdated, now we have Republicans dressing like we’re somewhere in Kabul instead of the Tar Heel State. Conservatives are supposed to stand up for the American way of life—not pander to bizarre globalist trends that put foreign customs above national pride. Who exactly is Alston trying to impress by covering her face like she’s in an ISIS training camp but shouting she’s “against ISIS”? It’s theater, not leadership.

The left’s hypocrisy is on full display. Liberals shout for equality and inclusivity, but you just know if a conservative guy wrapped himself in a foreign veil and lashed out against terrorism, the media would lose their minds. Instead, they’re silent or, worse, trying to normalize this circus because it fits their narrative to erase American culture, traditions, and common sense.

America is the land of the free because our forefathers fought, bled, and worked for us to live differently—not so our elected officials could play dress-up to appease international fads. Real Republicans stand up for faith, family, and freedom—not for fashion statements looking straight out of a jihadist playbook. What Alston is doing isn’t bold or fresh—it’s a mockery of the values that made this country great.

This once again shows why everyday Americans are so fed up with politicians who care more about woke virtue-signaling than about standing up for taxpayers, the Constitution, and the greatness of our country. If this is the “new face” of the GOP, then the party needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror—no niqab required. Are we going to let globalist trends dictate who represents us, or will real conservatives finally say enough is enough?
