New York City is under attack, and once again, the radical left is showing just how weak and clueless it really is. When bombs go off, real leaders stand up for their people. Instead, what do we get? Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a far-left darling more worried about woke politics than protecting Americans. While ISIS sympathizers launch chaos on our streets, this so-called “leader” can’t even call evil by its name.
This isn’t just a mistake—it’s a disgrace. The mayor couldn’t muster the basic courage to confront terrorists head-on. Instead, he danced around the truth, afraid he might upset his globalist pals or some activist Twitter mob. New Yorkers deserve better than spineless virtue signaling when lives are at risk. Saying nothing, or worse, downplaying the threat, makes the city weaker and emboldens those who want to destroy our way of life.
Thankfully, the NYPD has people with real backbone. Commissioner Jessica Tisch had to step in and state the obvious: this was an attack, not an “incident” or a “disturbance.” Imagine that! The head of our police department showing more leadership than the Mayor himself. That’s the world progressives want. Chaos in the streets, and politicians cowering behind politically correct scripts while Americans suffer.
It’s the same tired liberal playbook—make excuses for the enemies of our country, blame American values, and tie law enforcement’s hands. The left wrings its hands about “root causes” and “restorative justice” while good people get blown up by terrorists. How many times do we have to see these weak-kneed responses before people wake up and vote for leaders who aren’t afraid to face evil?
This is a wake-up call. People who refuse to stand against evil have no business running a city, let alone America’s greatest city. The left can hide behind empty slogans and identity politics, but the truth is plain to see—real leadership means protecting your citizens, not making excuses for those who want to tear us down. Are we going to keep letting leftists run roughshod over our safety, or is it finally time to put America first?
