The numbers out of the Pentagon are truly shocking. In just ten days, 140 of our brave American troops have been wounded in the latest round of fighting linked to Iran. Add to that the seven American lives lost. This is what happens when our leaders bend over backward trying to appease dangerous regimes instead of standing up for our country. Where is the outcry from the liberal elite now? They used to pretend to care about every soldier’s life when it was politically convenient. Now, they look the other way while Americans get hurt and killed on foreign soil.
Iran’s aggression isn’t new. It’s been happening for years, but it’s gotten worse because our White House sends nothing but weak signals. All those so-called “diplomatic solutions” and endless negotiations have backfired. The only thing evil understands is strength, not some flowery speech from a podium in D.C. But the Biden administration and their globalist buddies act like America should just roll over and take it.
If President Trump were still in charge, you can bet this situation would look a whole lot different. Enemies respected us then. American lives mattered. Our military had clear orders, not red tape and confusion. But liberals cheered as soon as they got their way, ditching tough foreign policy for another round of virtue signaling and appeasement. What did that get us? More wounded soldiers and more dead Americans.
It’s sickening to watch the same old failures being repeated. The radical left claims they’re for the troops, but their policies put our men and women right in harm’s way with no real support. Iran knows it. The world knows it. And every time the Pentagon has to update these tragic numbers, our enemies just laugh a little harder.
How many more Americans have to suffer before we finally get a Commander-in-Chief who puts this country first? When will Democrats quit playing world police and start defending their own people? Maybe it’s time for the left to stop sending out thoughts and prayers and start protecting Americans—on our soil and abroad. Or is that just too much to ask?
